About Lindsey
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Hufnagel moved to New York City over a decade ago to pursue a career in art and design. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the prestigious Parsons School of Design, where her passion for storytelling through aesthetics began to take shape. Early internships—including working on the Broadway production The Pirate Queen under Tony Award-winning Costume Designer Martin Pakledinaz—sparked her love for costume design.
Alongside these formative experiences, Hufnagel launched her own distinctive line of handbags and later founded Horse+Nail, a handbag brand that blended craftsmanship with a rebellious edge. This entrepreneurial spirit carried her to the West Coast, where she opened a curated vintage shop in Venice, California.
In recent years, she’s returned to her roots in costume design, contributing to several award-winning short and feature films. Her focus has since expanded to television, working as a Costume Buyer for Barry Season 4 and The Old Man Season 2, and serving as Assistant Art Director for popular Food Network productions including Valerie's Home Kitchen, Guy’s Grocery Games, and Wild Card Kitchen. With a multidisciplinary background that fuses fashion, interiors, and storytelling, Hufnagel continues to evolve as a designer—blending her eclectic experiences into a singular creative vision.
